Yesterday, Attorney General Koster filed a motion to force Peerless Landfill, Inc. a demolition landfill in St. Louis County, to shut down for noncompliance of an earlier consent judgment that required it to have a working system to control methane gas emitted by the landfill, as well as to have an insurance mechanism for the continued working of the system.
